Note: The core training session is more than just getting a 6 pack, although that is one of the great benefits of having a strong and flexible core. The aim of the core sessions is to learn how to use your core muscles effectively, which means learning how to access the deeper layers of your abdominal muscles, like your pelvic floor muscle.
When you are doing your abdominal work you always want to make sure you breathe so you don’t get a build-up of intra-abdominal pressure. This is a build-up of air that cannot escape. People that do not breathe properly while placing load through the body and core can be at a high risk of getting a hernia.
Post-session check-in: How did you feel about the session?
1. Was this session easy or hard, were the movements easy to follow or did they feel too complicated?
2. How did you find the increase in intensity?
If you have a question about any of this or something related to this session, then let me know below so we can ensure you are doing all the movements correctly and using the right training load.
